RULES AND REGULATIONS

* Fleece(s) and show entry

forms for the

Llama Fleece Show

 will be accepted up to

July 3th, 2008.

* Fleeces may be delivered to the

residence of Loraine Guyn or

mailed postage paid, to:

 PRIOR TO JULY 03, 2008.

·        Entries mailed that are to be returned

     must be accompanied by the

     appropriate return postage.

·        Each fleece entry shall be accompanied

     by:     (see following form for your use)

§         Date of shearing

§         Date of previous shearing

§         Name of llama

§         Name of owner and address

§         Birth date of llama.

 

FLEECE SHALL BE:

 

  a) shorn, unbrushed.

  b) prime fibre from the barrel area

       (blanket area).

  c) skirted as per instruction in the

      preparation  outline.

  d) handpicked of debris and second cuts.

  e) roll fleece.

   f) submitted in clear unmarked plastic bag.

  g) be judged by exhibitor number only when

       presented to the judge.

 

                             FLEECE SHALL NOT:

 

  a) be washed before or after shearing.

  b) have crème rinse or other chemicals

      applied prior to or after shearing.

  c) have guard hair removed.

  d) have insect or parasite infection.

 

Length of fibre: Minimum 3 inches,

      Maximum   8 inches.
